Moreover, his performances in 2021 season weren’t great either. As a result, he was traded to the Broncos through what turned out to be a blockbuster deal.

The trade involved Drew Lock, 2 first-round picks, 2 second-round picks, a fifth-round pick, Noah Fant and Shelby Harris have been sent to Seattle in exchange for Wilson. After this, several fans pointed out that the AFC Conference now looks ominous.
The reason behind it is that star quarterbacks like Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Justin Herbert, Joe Burrow, and Lamar Jackson were already a part of it and now, Russell Wilson has joined in. As soon as the Twitteratis became aware about Russell’s addition to the AFC, reactions started pouring in.
It will be interesting to see how this trade turns out. Russell had a rather forgettable season last time around but he undoubtedly has the caliber to turn things around and who knows, the 2022 season might just be the one where Russell announces himself yet again in grand stand.
